Steven Melling, a Biography.

Steve was born in 1968 at Rainhill in Merseyside, where from age 11 he attended Rainhill high school. From there he joined the Army Transport Corps and served two tours of duty in Northern Ireland as an APC driver.
Whilst in the Army Steve married and had two children, Chloe and Jason.
Near the end of 1991 Steve was diagnosed with the rare condition Addisons disease, after which he was honourably discharged from the Army. After leaving the forces he worked as a lorry driver for some years.
Steve was a familiar face around his home village and was known by many people and had plenty of friends. In the latter years of his life Steve was an avid PC gamer, and was a member of a number of clans including GBU and latterly BBC where I know he leaves many teamates and friends.
He will be very sadly missed by his family, friends and teamates alike.
